Details
The purpose of the Wise, Wealthy Women Meetup is to empower women to come together in a safe, supportive, educational atmosphere to gain knowledge, friendship and financial well-being.
At our March meeting we will be learning all about taxation and using education to find all of our deductions and learning how different aspects of our financial lives affect out taxes. We will be taking a look at the big picture. Hope to see you there!

"We had a great meeting on Saturday. Three first time attendees joined up with five returning members. We learned how the tax system is different for investors and traders. We also discussed capital gains/losses vs. ordinary income and expenses. We talked about the Wash Sale Rule and Mark to Market Accounting. You can find all the information discussed in a hand out in the Files Section of the Meetup Website. Please feel free to check it out.:) Next month we will be taking a look at various retirement vehicles like IRAs (Roth and Traditional) and 401ks and comparing the various pros and cons of each. For the next two months we will be meeting on the 2nd Saturday afternoon rather than the first. I hope you can join us."
